Provides a pre-kindergarten program for children to support growth and development. — Service provides:

  • supports for children to reach their optimal development

Includes:

  • a safe, play-based environment
  • validation of strengths
  • support from various professionals

Key Provider: educational assistants, educational psychologists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, teachers, therapy assistants

Eligibility

Yes, Service targeted to:

  • children 2 years 8 months to 4 years 8 months as of September 1 of that school year
  • who have been identified of having a significant or severe need in communication / language skills, behaviour / emotional difficulties, neurological disorders, or a medical disability

Children ages 3 years 8 months can qualify with a mild to moderate need.
