About This Program

Provides supports for people with diverse abilities. — Service offers:

  • support for people with diverse abilities to become active in their communities and reach the highest possible levels of independence

Includes:

  • supported homes, independent and semi-independent living, behaviour counselling, and mental and physical therapy
  • community living, life skill coaching, career development, rest and relief for caregivers and family support for children with diverse abilities

Affiliation: Government of Alberta – Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services Key Provider: disability support workers, psychologists

Eligibility

Yes, Service targeted to:

  • people with diverse disabilities
  • and residing in British Columbia or Alberta
