About This Program

Provides support and services to help families become resilient, strong, and healthy. — Service provides:

  • prevention, early intervention, and supports to help build resilient, strong, and healthy families
  • supports for parents and caregivers from prenatal and newborn care to teenage development information

Includes:

  • programs and workshops – parenting programs to empower caregivers with the tools they need to thrive; workshops that focus on parenting strategies, nurturing strong relationships and attachments, and understanding developmental stages; includes Emotional Coaching, What's Up with Teens, and Circle of Security
  • home visitation – offers in-home parenting education and family support to expectant parents and those with children newborn to 6 years of age who may be experiencing barriers or challenges
  • family support – provides 1-on-1 coaching to help caregivers develop their parenting knowledge and skills to provide safe, responsive, and nurturing environments
  • child and youth development – provides age-appropriate programs geared towards promoting healthy development; includes parent and child programs such as Play, Learn, Grow and Kimochis, as well as childhood developmental screenings / Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ-3 & ASQ:SE-2)

Yes, Service targeted to:

  • families with children 0 to 18 years
  • residing in the City of Leduc

Ages: 0–18 years
