About This Program

Offers advocacy and resources to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. — Service offers:

  • support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through advocacy and resources

Includes:

  • developing awareness in communities
  • Leadership Series – a workshop for parents of children with developmental disabilities aimed at creating an inclusive life
  • Family Voices – a network of advocates working to improve inclusive education and supports in each region of Alberta
  • Reg Peters Library
  • working with teachers, schools, and school districts to develop inclusive education from preschool to high school by offering consultations and workshops
  • Rotary Employment Partnership – works with the business community to create jobs and facilitate the inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities
