About This Program

Offers an early intervention program for preschool children with diagnosed developmental delays, disorders, and medical diagnoses. — Service provides:

  • an early intervention program for preschool children with diagnosed developmental delays, disorders, and medical diagnoses that impact their ability to successfully participate in their classroom and community settings

Includes:

  • a team of professionals who provide support in the community setting of the client's choice
  • an Individualized Program Plan (IPP) that will cater to the child's specific needs
  • a multidisciplinary learning team
  • family-centered programming

Affiliation: Alberta Education Program Unit Funding (PUF) Key Provider: certified teachers, educational assistants, family support workers, occupational therapists (OT), physical therapists, speech language pathologists (SLP), speech language pathologist assistants (SLPA), therapy assistants

Eligibility

Yes, Service targeted to:

  • children 2 years and 8 months to 6 years before September 1
  • with diagnosed developmental delays, disorders, or medical diagnoses that impact their ability to successfully participate in their classroom and community settings
  • who meet the Program Unit Funding criteria
