Half Day Head Start

Provided by: Alder Academy Early Learning Society

Offers a half day early intervention program.

Service offers:

  • a half day Head Start early intervention program

Includes:

  • a focus on components from the kindergarten curriculum and learning through play
  • early literacy which focuses on the children being actively engaged in acquiring language works with the support of a Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and a Social Worker
  • busing to and from school 4 days per week

Parents are expected to attend parent groups.

Yes

Service targeted to:

  • children 3.5 to 5 years
  • from families with low income
  • and are residing in the designated busing area
