Pediatric Tracheostomy and Home Invasive Ventilation Program

<p>This program supports children requiring tracheostomy with / without home invasive ventilation in Northern Alberta.</p> <p>The Stollery's Pediatric Tracheostomy and Home Invasive Ventilation Program offers respiratory and airway assessment and management of children with a tracheostomy in place and with / without need for home invasive ventilation. Our clinic are multi / inter-disciplinary and work with community-based partners to provide integrated services to children and families including but not limted to:</p> <ul> <li>Airway assesment</li> <li>Respiratory assesment</li> <li>Access to the Stollery's Pediatric Sleep Laboratory for polysomnography studies</li> <li>Equipment assessment</li> <li>Education</li> <li>Home nutrition services</li> <li>Social services</li> <li>Speech language pathology services</li> </ul>
